Getting your gear to you

We work hard to ensure your professional quality camera equipment reaches you as quickly as possible, whether you're in Australia or across the globe. Shipping costs for international orders vary, but for our Aussie mates, any orders over $100 AUD shipping within Australia automatically receive free shipping. We've also discounted our regular shipping prices to give you a better deal!

Easy returns and exchanges

We want you to shop with confidence. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

Eligible items can be returned free of charge if they arrive damaged, faulty, or significantly different from their description. Simply contact us with clear photo or video evidence, and we’ll assess your claim as quickly as possible.

As a thank you for your patience, we’ll also send you a $10 AUD store credit to use on your next order once your return has been approved.

Returnable Items

The following items are eligible for returns (subject to our return conditions):

  • ✔️ Camera bodies
  • ✔️ Camera lenses
  • ✔️ Camera accessories
  • ✔️ Camera bags and straps
  • ✔️ Tripods and mounts
  • ✔️ Flashes and lighting equipment
  • ✔️ Any item that arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless we sent you the wrong item:

  • ✖️ Untested items
  • ✖️ Broken or “For Parts” items
  • ✖️ Instant film packs (including expired film)
  • ✖️ Consumable products once opened
  • ✖️ Items damaged after delivery due to misuse or accidental damage

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Provide photo or video evidence of the issue.
  • Return the item in the same condition it was received, including any accessories where possible.

If we accidentally sent the wrong item, we’ll cover everything and get the correct item to you as quickly as possible.

Our goal is simple: fair, hassle-free service and happy customers.

Instant Film & X-Rays

We carefully package all instant film to help ensure it arrives in excellent condition. While most postal and courier X-ray scanners are low-powered and do not cause noticeable issues, some airports and distribution centres may use higher-powered CT scanners that can affect instant film.

Because shipping routes and security procedures are outside our control, we cannot guarantee that film will not be X-rayed during transit. If possible, we recommend storing your film in a cool, dry place or refrigerated upon arrival until you’re ready to use it.

All film sold by Hitchcock’s Film Stock is genuine factory-sealed stock and is handled with care before dispatch.
